Since 1997, Blue Moon Gallery, 718 Central Avenue in Hot Springs has become a favorite destination for discovering both original and affordable artwork. In 2001 a larger space was acquired to further establish our commitment in the arts district. The Blue Moon Gallery represents national, regional and local fine artists, including sculpture and photography. Many of the artists have artwork for display on the gallery website www.bluemoonartgallery.com. The website’s monthly gallery news is a great resource for information about the artists and an event calendar for current and future community art events. Each month the gallery is transformed to accommodate the artwork of a featured artist or a special event. The Opening Reception is always held during Gallery Walk on the first Friday evening of each month. This tradition has continued for more than twenty years and is anticipated by locals and visitors for a chance to meet the artists and purchase their favorite selections. The gallery also rents the space for catered events, special parties and receptions. It is a popular choice for wedding parties, anniversaries and conference gatherings. The gallery is located in the heart of downtown Hot Springs and in the center of the Arts District, across the street from the City Visitor Center and two blocks from the Hot Springs National Park Visitor Center. Hot Springs is the 10th most populous city in the U.S. state of Arkansas, the county seat of Garland County,and the principal city of the Hot Springs Metropolitan Statistical Area encompassing all of Garland County. According to 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city was 39,467.

The Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival is one of the oldest documentary film festivals in the world, held annually in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The festival began in 1992, with a screening of ten Academy Award nominated documentaries. The festival screens 100 documentaries each year and is recognized by the International Documentary Association and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as one of seven national Academy Award qualifying venues.

The Hot Springs Music Festival is a not-for-profit educational music festival held in Hot Springs, Arkansas. During the first two weeks of June, "pre-professional" musicians join professional mentor musicians in performance of concert music. There are approximately 4 orchestral concerts and numerous chamber music concerts.
